Histology Services

• Initial Consultation regarding project planning - $120
• Tissue Processing:
• Wax  - $2.00 per block
• resin - Price on request
  
• Embedding by Staff:
• Wax - $1.50 per block
• Resin - Price on request
  
• Microtome Induction Courses - Cryostat, Wax or Ultramicrotome - $180
• Facilities Usage – Including use of Cryostat, Wax or Ultramicrotomes, Staining and Embedding Stations etc - $10 per hour
• Microtomy by Staff (cryostat, wax, ultramicrotome) - $60 per hour
• Staining by Staff - $60 per hour
• Large Section Cutting - $60 per hour
• Critical Point Drying - $10 per run

Additional Histology Services

• Microtome Knife Sharpening $20 per blade
• Customised Human Biology Slides - Price dependent on quantity, tissue type, stain etc...(Average $7.50 per slide)
  

Imaging & Analysis

• Initial Consultation regarding project planning - $ 50
• Use of equipment - $ 25 per hour  - UWA community
• Use of equipment - $ 50 per hour  - External users
• Live Cell Imaging session - base price of $ 100 . You might have to pay extra for a long session or special requirements.Training can be provided in all the above services or alternatively we can provide costing for the work to be done by CELLCentral staff.
